From the book, the main character that I have chosen is Ray Atlee. He works as a pilot at Docker's Flight School and he is a law professor in Virginia. Judge Atlee decides to issue a summons to both Ray and Forrest, Ray's youngest brother, to come to Clanton, Mississippi. He found out that his father died in his study and stored boxes of cash in them. So, he decides to take the money and store it all for himself and use some money and go to casinos, like his father did.
He chooses to hide the money from his brother because first, he is the oldest and he knows how to spend it better than his brother. He also hid it because his brother is an addict and if he gave some to him, he would blow it away on crack, weed, and other kinds of drugs. He is wise for spending the money wisely and he has courage for flying and teaching law. I think that Ray's past has shaped his actions and/or choices by making sure that he does not split the money with his brother, Forrest. I think that his past has changed because he did not really go to casinos that much, By doing that, he is creating a commotion for the wealthy, top people to notice. I disapprove Ray because he wants to be more wealthy than his brother and he is going to run into a problem if the casino wealthy people caught him gambling. I would not say that I have a person that reminds me of Ray, from the book, but there are casinos that bring people to have a fun, amazing time.
