The ending of the book was very interesting and I would recommend someone into reading this book. Apparently, the younger brother did the killing of his father and lied to his older brother about his father dying and not wanting to set foot in the house. Also, the older brother was keeping the money to himself, instead of sharing the money with the younger brother. The reason for that is because he wanted to keep him safe from drugging himself until he died.
If I could ask the author a question, I would ask what was the reason for the slight touch across Ray's shoulder before his younger brother left for a year. Is this a sense of vengeance between the two?

Ready player one 3rd post
This ending .... I can't ruin the ending because i do recommend people to read this book because it was an exciting read. The ending was perfect it was and exciting all the way but then something you would never imagine happened..... but the hero was able to come back to win the game.. Some people thought it was impossible.. But the thing is you have to pay attention to the book to understand the ending. The details make everything come together at the end, and it makes it that much better! So i really recommend people to read it!
If i could as the author any question i would ask what current game would be the most similar to the oasis.

Hey Stoopid
I did not like the ending at all because Jack had died of a heart defect. Jack was such a good person and he went on and the book went on he made more friends. His best friend is Jared and he had wrote a short story on his hand before he died, Jared saw it, put his head down in his hand and started sobbing. Jack was a good guy, people just didn't give him a chance.
If I could ask the author one question I would ask "What happened to Jared after Jack passed?"

I really liked this book it was a really great story. He really has a passion for the game of football. He has the passion for football like I have for basketball. He is one of the greatest coaches in football ever. He went through a lot in his life he was really like an adult for most of his life they way they made it seem. It was a very good representation of the love someone can have for something as simple as football. It might take you a little while but eventually you will find something you love to do he found football and I found basketball.
Safe Haven!!!!!!! post 3
5 million stars! This book touched my heart, it was a truly wonderful read! I really loved Katie, she was so strong, brave, smart, kind and compassionate, and Alex was just perfect; a great dad with a gentle heart. They had both suffered tragedy in their lives and it really tugged on my heart strings. Their chapters together were so heart-warming and touching .
I wouldn't change nothing about this book, it had everything I like to read when I'm reading a book, romance drama, and suspense.
I think the ending was perfect, I loved it, really kinda magical! Gave the book more depth I thought, it made it different from other domestic abuse stories . At first I felt it was very similar to the movie "Sleeping With The Enemy" so I was happy with this major twist as it gave the novel a different slant and made the novel that bit more special and different and I disagree with people who said it was too random, I didn't feel that way at all.

Summons post 2
From the book, the main character that I have chosen is Ray Atlee. He works as a pilot at Docker's Flight School and he is a law professor in Virginia. Judge Atlee decides to issue a summons to both Ray and Forrest, Ray's youngest brother, to come to Clanton, Mississippi. He found out that his father died in his study and stored boxes of cash in them. So, he decides to take the money and store it all for himself and use some money and go to casinos, like his father did.
He chooses to hide the money from his brother because first, he is the oldest and he knows how to spend it better than his brother. He also hid it because his brother is an addict and if he gave some to him, he would blow it away on crack, weed, and other kinds of drugs. He is wise for spending the money wisely and he has courage for flying and teaching law. I think that Ray's past has shaped his actions and/or choices by making sure that he does not split the money with his brother, Forrest. I think that his past has changed because he did not really go to casinos that much, By doing that, he is creating a commotion for the wealthy, top people to notice. I disapprove Ray because he wants to be more wealthy than his brother and he is going to run into a problem if the casino wealthy people caught him gambling. I would not say that I have a person that reminds me of Ray, from the book, but there are casinos that bring people to have a fun, amazing time.

Woman Thou Art Loosed
I think that this is a very inspirational book. The author help you visualize the different kinds of hurts and pains and abuses from mental ,emotional, sexual and physical that women go through of all ages, and how to overcome and live. The author also explains very vivid that in order for the healing process to begin you must first FORGIVE those that hurt you. You see forgiveness is not for them its for you, and he then give you scriptures of life for forgiveness, healing, love, joy, peace, overcoming, coming out and many more to help you to become the GREAT WOMEN that God intended for us to be.
There are no questions I would have , I believe the author wrote an suberb and very encouraging book.

The Observations Blog 3
I thought the end of the book was satisfying. I thought it was satisfying because the maid Bessy was able to stay with there missus. The last third of the book the missus goes nuts and attacks a Reverend. She also believes that an old servant that use to work for her is alive. When she is not she died when she got railed by a train. You would have to read the book to understand. But the missus gets sent to an Asylum because her husband and the town thinks she is nuts. So after the missus gets sent to the asylum Bessy is out of a job. But Bessy finds at the Asylum where her missus is living at, so they get to be together now. But I kind of wish there was more of a twist at the end like there was in the book.
My question I would ask the author is, What made you come up with a story like this? Was there an inspiration behind it? The reason I would ask this is because the book was kind of weird and different. Just from the stuff that happened during the book and is there a reason you put it in the book. Like the old maid Nora and how she died and why Bessy is so loyal to Missus after all this time.

I was very satisfied with the ending of the book, because the main character Bram and Modoc the elephant finally got the chance to perform and grow old together.
if i could ask the author one question i would ask how he managed to make such a magnificent story.

Kitchen confidential post 3
The ending to this book is pretty good. Overall I really enjoyed reading this book and I thought it brought a lot of helpful pointers to the table. If I could ask the author one question it would be why did you like to hop from restaurant to restaurant so much? I want to know this because I was wondering if it gave you a better feel for the restaurant business or if you just got sick of places easily and moved on?

Ready Player One- Main Person
My main character name is Wade. Like my favorite basketball player Dwayne Wade. Wade is an a intelligent kid who had a rough childhood. He lost his parents when he was really young but they taught him how to surf the web and how to do things with computers. But now he lives with his terrible aunt who will take anything of his that she can sell for drug money. He always online and i say it's because he wants to escape his problems in the real world. Because there is nothing really for him in the real world. He is a lot smarter than any other character so far just because he spent so much time online it basically a unlimited free library! I admire Wade because he doesn't let anything hold him back if it's his terrible aunt or not having a father or mother there for him. He shows no weakness and is successful in anything he does. He reminds me of myself in some way just because when i grew up i lived on a farm where the closest neighbor was miles away so i spent all my time learning random facts as well. The difference is he uses his random facts.

Woman Thou Art Loosed
This book reveals alot of lifes hurts and pains in girl and women, along with the annodote on how to be free of the chains and bondages of yesterdays hurts and pains to begin healing. Sometimes it is easier to just bury our pains of the past in a chest and sealing them there, rather than to deal with them. However the reality is that we can't bury our past hurts/pains and never deal with it because it will surely arise up in your future, and this can cause trust issues, insecurities and even loneliness not knowing how to have a relationship. This author gives scriptures and hope through faith in God and letting God heal you from your yesterdays..........
Book. Hey Stoopid
The main character in my book Hey Stoopid's name is Jack. He is a 13 year old boy who had to grow up without a mom because they didn't like the fact that he was profoundly brain damaged. He was brain damaged because she did drugs when she was pregnant with him and she expected him to be normal and perfect. No one is perfect, but he is an extraordinary kid.
I hate the fact that he got made fun of all the time and had to pass as a normal kid in tough classes.
The teacher would make him stay in the classroom until he finished his work. He was not allowed to go to recess until it was done. Which I think is so wrong. For a kid who has severely learning disabilities, shouldn't be treated like that.
I would have to say I don't admire Jack, but I do appreciate him, and accept him for who he is as a person, not by what a doctors says he is. Jack reminds me of all the severely profound that I haven/taken care of. People don't realize that they are just like us. They have feelings to. I am so involved with helping kids like this that last year I went to all the school dances with the same boy who had turrets and ADHD. And this year on my birthday I went to homecoming with a kid who can't talk, is in a wheelchair, but full of joy.
This book is the best book I've ever read!

Observation
My character that I choose is Bessy the maid. She is a 16 years old,she has brown hair and isn't to tall. Her motivation is to impress her missus first and now her motivation is to scare the missus to believe there is a ghost in the house. The reason that Bessy wanted to scare her like that is because missus had a book that she wrote about Bessy in and the stuff that she wrote about her wasn't never nice. Bessy became a maid when her master or husband i don't know which one really didn't explain in the book, but when he died Bessy had to leave so when she was walking to find a new place a residence she stumbled upon the missus.I don't think Bessy has any big things about her only that she is caring and polite and is a good maid. For an example the missus kept hearing things at night through the house and stuff was moved out of place so the missus though is was the old maid Nora haunting her since Nora died but it was Bessy pulling a prank on the missus. So when the missus went up to the attic with Bessy they found writing on the window and the missus had a horrible fainting spell so Bessy slept next to her and watched over her throw the night and still did her chores. The passed has shaped Bessy by making better choices so far through her life. She use to a prostitute with her mom when she was younger but then she ran away from that and went to Mr.Levy house how she use to work for. He thought her how to read and write so that has help Bessy get the job as the maid. I am neutral on the character i don't disapprove or approve of her. Shes not my favorite or hate her I don't know why though. Nope she does not remind me of anyone I know.
Well the main character is a very interesting character. The reason I think this is because of the way he acts. He is like an adult at such a young age. I don't really think that is good and that reason is because who wants to hangout with a teenager that acts like an adult. If you act like an adult you won't want to do all the stupid things that teenagers do and that is so fun just taking risks and getting away with it. It is one of the best things in the world. He kind of reminds me of me because he loves the game of football and is so passionate about it. I am so passionate about basketball no matter what I can't give it up either.
Modoc
Modoc is a very heart touching story about the strong bond between a young boy named Bram and his best friend Modoc who is a circus elephant. they were both born on the same day and one the same hour. the main character which is Bram losses Modoc due to the circus being shut down and sold to a Mr. North. Bram does everything in his power to be with Modoc and even sneaks upon the ship that's headed over seas to America.
The ship ends up sinking in the ocean due to a very large storm, luckily Modoc and Bram are rescued and end up in India. Bram does all this because his father told him take care of Modoc before he died on his death bed.
Bram has had a lot of life experiences that many of us will never have and it all seems to be for the best. while in India he was allowed to meet the Famous Albino Elephant that was sacred to India and was cared for by a highly elite Elephant trainer. Bram gain their respect and is given a necklace that it is a symbol of high status wherever he went in India.

Kitchen Confidential!!!!!!!!!!!:)
The main character in my book is Anthony Bourdain. And let me tell you he is one heck of a guy, he has gone from kitchen to kitchen he has worked under Chefs he has managed chefs. Anthony has been around the block a time or two. He has a very odd personality he can go from calm and collected to Crazy in any minute but sometimes I wonder if that's just the life of a chef, because they work under hard standards and they don't have time mess ups or mistakes when there preparing a customers meal. He has been a very interesting guy to read about because hes all over the board! in the beginning of the book till at least halfway through hes doing drugs everyday, and he would work in kitchen where drugs were supplied from the bartender or head chef, but he seems to turn around and all of the sudden he stops mentioning that hes doing drugs all of the time, so I figured that he quit.
You know at first I wasn't sure about Anthony and what his journey was going to be like. But after reading most of his book so far I give him props he has moved around so many times and because of this gained many skills and I really admire his hard work and dedication to the kitchen. Some of the stuff I have read has cracked me up and other things made me realize just how tough it gets, and I think that's what makes his book so interesting and sometimes he explains things out so well its like almost right there with him. he one very talented chef and I admire his hard work.
You know I have always had a love for cooking, and that's why I am pursuing a Culinary Arts degree now. But growing up in the small town that I did it was at least 20 -25 minutes drive to work at any restaurant and I just was interested in driving that far. I always worked at local places just minutes from my house. After reading his book I know that I'm making the right choice though because I cant wait to feel that crazy rush when the kitchen is flooded with orders and everything goes just right.
Anthony to me is a really inspiring person, yes maybe he did drugs and hit some all time lows but he pulled through and is turning kitchen mistakes into kitchen mater pieces well trying at least and sometimes they fail and sometimes they don't, but that's life that's any business not just a restaurant. I really believe that he has a passion for cooking.

Safe Haven!!!!! (second post)
Katie Feldman is the main character of the novel. She works as a waitress at Ivan's and is 27 years old. She rents a small cottage nearby, which is an old hunting cabin sitting at the end of a gravel road. She dyes her hair a brown color and cuts her own hair. Naturally, she is a blonde and her real name is Erin Tierney. She steals the identity of Katie Feldman from her old neighbors. Katie is their daughter who died. While she is friendly and efficient as a waitress, she doesn't tend to be too chatty with the customers or even her co-workers.
Katie chooses to keep to herself because she is hiding from her abusive husband. Erin had come to Southport after running away from her husband and marriage in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Katie is quiet hard working and determined, after she got the cottage she did all the remodeling herself. Katie is a strong individual, because it takes a strong woman to remove them self from a bad situation, she was in an abusive marriage for years but when she couldn't take it anymore she said enough is enough, she packed her stuff and ran as far as she can. Katie past has shaped her for the better, if she hadn't gotten out the her abusive marriage it could have ended worst. if it wasn't for her abusive past she wouldn't have found Alex the love of her life, if it wasn't for her past she wouldn't be independent, if it wasn't for her past she would still be getting abused, so her past has change her life for the better. I admire Katie because her character goes to show that if you want something to be done have have to have the courage and will to do so yourself, I also admire her because she's an strong individual. Her character I wouldn't say reminds me exactly of someone but I know some powerful women in my life, like my mom, my sisters or my aunts they're all very strong women who goes after whatever they want.

Free Book Project
The book "The Summons" is a very good book to read. It is written by John Grisham. This book is like being in a mystery sort of scene. It talks about these two brothers: Ray and Forrest meet with his father, but to find out that the Judge died in his study. Ray starts finding boxes with money in them and was wondering where the judge received the amount of money. There are still questions that are lingering inside my head. That is how interesting this book is. I do wonder what is going to happen when I keep on reading.

Safe Haven!!!!!!!!
Safe Haven Is a romantic and mysterious book written by Nicholas Sparks. Katie the main character of the book moves to a small town in North Carolina called Southport and establishes a new life. Katie works as a waitress at Ivan's local seafood restaurant. Even though Katie is new to the town, she seems to keep to herself, as if she is trying to hide something. Katie later starts to befriend her new neighbor , a woman in her mid thirties named Jo. As Jo and Katie get o know each other, Katie finds herself adoring the friendship she builds with Jo.
My experience with the book so far is amazeeee-ingg. its probably my fourth favorite romance novel after The Notebook, Titanic, Twilight Saga its right there in the fourth spot. This book is really good I'm experiencing so many emotions while reading this book! The book was very slow it took awhile for it to grab my attention but as i read on and start asking myself questions it had me intrigued, there's so much mystery and questions it keeps me guessing and i like that about it. While reading this book my emotions has been one big roller coaster I've cried, Asked myself multiple questions about whats going on and I've been engaged! I'm curious to know how this book will end but its been so good so far that I for sure want to watch the movie.

Kitchen Confidential
I really like the book Kitchen Confidential. It is about the kitchen and Anthony's journey through kitchens upon kitchens. When I first started reading this book I just wasn't sure if it was going to be good, because the begining of the book was slow getting into it. When I read this book it makes me feel alive inside.
Woman Thou Art Loosed
The reading of this book is remarkable, it takes you back to your past issues, hurts and explains how to release them and how to allow healing take place. It gives you characteristics of indiuvuals who have been abused as a child, not only as little girls but also as little boys. This book is about a women's hurt steming from being as a young child up to their adult life, but what i like about the author, is that he also regonized little boys. Their hurts and pains. How their are many forms of abuse mental, physical, and sexual. How they are ususal from someone who the child knows.
The author imparts that although we have past hurts we must FORGIVE and that this would be the beginning of the healing process. That through forgiveness the bondage and chains that are inbeded in our lives will be broken. This is a very inspiring book and it makes you do a self check over your life, you see sometimes we think that we have forgiven someone who has hurt us and find out that we really have not. Let you see that person and that hatred tries to arise.
So Far..
I am reading the book Hey Stoopid by Judith Lane. The main character's name is Jack. His mom thought he was the most beautiful, most perfect son she ever had. Until... she found out when he was 2 years old that he was profoundly retarded. Then she dropped him off at her moms, left, never came back, and never called to check up on him. His grandmother died when he was 13 years old. That left him to fend for himself. One night he was scrounging through a dumpster, when a social worker found him and found him a shelter. He was profoundly brain damaged from the drugs his mother took when she was pregnant. All the kids always made fun of him.
The book got my attention right away because it's about the severely profound and I've helped out the handicaped my whole life. The book makes me happy and mad at the same time.

Ready Player One- Ernest Cline
Let's see this book is about a kid who lost his Mom and Dad when he was younger. But is now brought up in a sky scraper type of trailer park called the stacks. By his aunt and her boyfriend who want nothing from him except anything that they could sell for drug money. The only way that this boy can escape is by going to school online. But wait online school? Like reading a text book or something in that nature? No, he goes to school in a video game,,, how much cooler is that. What I've read so far the whole point of this online world is to find the egg. But no one knows where the egg is but they know you need 3 keys to get it. No one knows where the keys are but private company payed "players" to find the keys for them. Which are the most hated people because it ruins the whole hunt for the keys.
I got engaged in this book right away because it makes sense. I can relate somewhat to what the author is saying about the computer parts and video game experiences and ect. It goes in to great detail that actually matters if you know about computers and gaming.
When I read this book i honestly kind of go into another virtual world myself because i can picture this book perfectly, like i said it goes into great detail but it makes sense and better to read if you pay attention to it because you can imagine it.
I can't wait to read more thank you for suggesting this book to me.

observation
My book is called The Observation by Jane Harris. So far from what I have read in the book there is a girl names Bessy who had to leave her old place of serves because the guy died who she use to work for. She meets an annoying boy on her journey to find a new job. She really does not care for they boy. As shes walking she walks past a girl who was a maid. The girl was kind of different. After passing the girl she wonders past a house and sees a lady that is trying to catch a pig that got out of its pen. After they catch the pig the women asked Bessy if she is any good at farm work and Bessy said yes which was a lie. The women found that out fast after bessy couldn't milk a cow. The women found out the Bessy could read and write so she hired as a house maid. The lady gave Bessy writing lessons and reading lessons. She also gave bessy a book to write in. One day the lady husband came home and they went out to eat. Bessy went snooping in the lady room and found her journal. The lady found out where bessy actually came from and it was a whore house.
I like the book its not boring and kind is weird and making you think the the heck is going on. It is not to hard or easy of a read it is in between which is nice!
I was engaged like the 5 page in it was just saying about where the bessy was heading so not much was happening but I am really enjoying the book.
I like reading if the book is interesting if its just boring and not really grabbing my attention its not my favorite thing to do. But I am enjoying the book I have now.

Well I am reading a When Pride Still Mattered. This is a really great book and the reason for this is because it is about one of the greatest coaches in the NFL. He took pride in what he did as a coach. This applies to me because I want to become a coach in the future and I have the pride for coaching in what I do.
In this book he is more relatable to adults then he is to students. I would just hate if I was like that but he has a lot of adults in his family. Wouldn't you think he would be made fun of by his friends. He also had to learn to be an adult earlier than what he should have been. He bossed around his siblings and his friends. I am surprised he actually has friends for how bossy he is.

The new book
The next book i'm reading is "Ready Player One" by Earnest Cline. I picked this book truly i only started to read it because you recommended it to me. At first I thought I'd Jut read it to get it out of the way. I really only read a couple of books that I liked so when I am told to read a book i'm not usually into it and I won't give it a chance. But when i started reading this book I got into it quickly just because i can relate to so many things and I am having actually fun reading this book but i'm not that far and that's what i love. I'm at the begging and there a long way to the end and if it's a fun read right now I can't wait to see what the rest of what book is like!
The next book I'll be reading is "The five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom. It got my attention just by hear a quick short summary and it turned out that I wanted to read it myself! Other people had recommended me to read it and that I gets you really emotional since its known to be a sad story. The way I see it its like a tester. It'll help me finally decide whether I'm super sensitive, emotional at times or hardly ever. I'm really looking forward to reading this book and finally getting some answers and getting to know more about myself.
book im reading!!! (Nickolas Sparks, Safe Haven) ;)
When a mysterious young woman name Katie appears in the small North Carolina town of Southport, her sudden arrival raises questions about her past. Beautiful yet self-effacing, Katie seems determined to avoid forming personal ties until a series of events draws her into two reluctant relationships: one with her plainspoken neighbor, Jo; and another with Alex, A widowed store owner. Katie slowly begins to relax her guard, putting down roots in the community and becoming increasingly attached to Alex and his family.
As Katie begins to fall in love, she struggles with the dark secret that still haunts her. With Jo's support, Katie eventually realizes that she must choose between a life of transient safety and one of riskier rewards.....and that in the darkest hour, love is the only true safe haven. :D
I chose this book because I'm a sucker for romance! I haven't read a good romance book in a while so I'm looking forward to crying its been awhile also since I cried at a good love story.

Free Book Project
The book that I chose is "The Summons" by John Grisham. This book is interesting to me because it shows part of the dome from the Capital Building. From what I have read from the back of the book and the first couple of chapters is that a judge from Mississippi is dying, so he calls up a summons to his two sons and wants a family meeting.
Book for Free Reading
The book called "Midnight in the garden of goo and evil" by John Berendt. The book is about real people from Savannah, Georgia. I really do not know what to except from this book because its kind of different do it should be interesting. It has women comparing their husband's suicide letters, a voodoo priest, and a foul-mouth black drag queen. I just feel that this book has a lot in stored for me and whoever else reads this book.
I chose to read the book Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain. I decided to read this book, after Mrs. Kepros was explaining it to me at our last ten minute meeting we had. I feel like this is going to be a good book and that it is going to be about the "real stuff" that happens in professional restaurant kitchens.

book i choose
I choose the book Modoc, by Ralph Helfer. there is a picture of an elephant and a young boy on the front cover, and that right away caught my eye. from what i read on the back cover of the book it is about a young boy and a circus elephant that form one of the strongest bonds every imaginable.
Free Reading book of my choice.
I chose the book Hey, Stoopid by Judith Lane, because on the back of the book for the description all it says is "When we say "Retard" Two souls die a little." That to me sounds like it is a book about people like me the mental and physically disabled people get made fun of, bullied, and called mean names. It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes by Scott Hamilton, "The only disability in life is a BAD ATTITUDE." Treat others as you wish to be treated. They are just like everyone else they are people and they have feelings.

GoOd Vs. Evil by samantha Ridgeway
“The
Line Between Good and Evil Cuts Through the Heart of Every Human Being”-
Aleandre
Solzenitsyn
Evil
is in every soul, every body. an any heart that beats. Everyone has a heart,
right? That heart beats without your control, what you do control is what that
heart beats in. Does that heart beat in selfishly, cold an pure negative evil
body or does that heart beat in kind, loving and thinks of others, along with
pure greatness body. Lucky, for those who have been born in the States know
this has well. We are born into freedom... We have rights. We have the right to
choose who we are an what we do with our lives. No matter what the situation is
in life I always base it on this, you could have 99.9 bad but there’s still a
pointh that good. You can always over roll pure negative. You can turn it
around a make any situation good. That leads me to say that, "Good
outweighs evil." but in this case by the studies shown in our class
subject. I believe that “evil over rolled the good”. It can go both ways. I
believe it depends on the people and what the case is. Evil an Good is
everywhere an in everyone, up to the person and what their point of views in
life where leads to what one beats the other.
Has
the motivating speaking in TED Philip Zimbardo said" Evil is the exercised
of power". In the studies of ted, trouble started when you gave someone
power. When u gave the leaders of our two main studies Hitler an Khlmer Rouge
power. Look at the troubles they had caused. Somehow these people got power an
like the study showed that over 90 present of people vibe off power an abity of
control that no one will be weld for
wrong doing. Their power branched in to
others who followed these leads, the weak stride off the streath of the leaders
of evil. The evil actions that took place in these subject was created by weak
people. That were to focus on following the negative that they had lost what
was true humanly right, they let their own minds an heart get week, along with
blinded by these eveil leaders. These leaders take room full of bitter, angry,
lost confused and scared souls. Talk of power and control creates an army
filled of negative, filled to fight what they think is right to fight for
control over their lives. Little did everyone know, the good didn't stand a chance?
The good was blinded an over rolled of evil.
"For
the last three decades, without surceases, Cambodia has been consumed by war,
genocide, slave labor an forced marches, starvation an now civil conflict. it
is to Asia what the holocaust was to Europe" said Sydney Schanberg. They
both are different couture's but went through some very common issues through a
long period of time. Army’s of evil had
done crimes against humanity. While the good wasn't able to neither fight nor stand
in their own Humanity. The good, were blinded by darkness. A such darkness
that, I don't understand how they will ever recover. But like every life an
every story you can choose what the outcome may bring. You can’t control life
its self or everything that happens around you but you can control the outcome.
What you do next. These people had been over weighted by evil. Only the strong
has lived through this horror. Only the strong can control this outcome, they
need to learn to override the war against evil. While reading the "the Night
by Ellie Wiesel " you might wonder what good can come from such horrible
things that were spoken about the things that had been taking place in our
history. If we didn't have evil? Would we have history? If didn't have evil, we
were learn some very important information in life? I would say we need evil,
to show you greatness. The writer Ellie Wiesel, didn't have a choose to be
there at that camp, that is true. He did have choose to do the things he has
done though, an that is why he here to day. Ellie didn't have to turn his life
into what it has become. I am sure that many others never turned around from
all that negative but maybe the help of him opening up an writing his books.
Maybe Ellie showed those people a new path in life that isn’t surrounded by
evil. In Ellie there was a fight to over drive that negative and let his voice
be heard. He just might gave many others that same strength. To let others know
that evil may very well over weight good but up to you if your going to let
that beat you. Fighting evil can take a life time, willing to bet that many
others haven't still recovered from all that god offal mess . He said in his
interview with Oprah" I have written 27 books but yet, haven't even got
started on what had happen with in them camps". He made that evil outweigh
the good. He never gave up, nor should anyone that faces evil. He took
something horrible that had happen an made the best he could with it. He had
came up with ways to overcome an let out some of that negative. To pass on the
stories an history of hope that, some might learn the simple messages of life. In
my eyes Ellie Wiesel, is a hero. I think he is a good example of Philip
Zimbardo form of a hero, “Heroes are everyday people whose social actions is
extra ordinary people”. You got Ellie that is just another Jew fighting his way
through his hardship in life, he kept his who is. I believe that what he is
doing great an if you need example on how to over roll the evil and start to
let the good overcome that evil. The war Evil vs. Good, going be on going until
the end of time. Being Evil is easy, being pure good isn’t easy. Humans need to keep the fight to over weigh
that evil.

Genocide/Evil Reflection
A person is different, whether good
or evil or vice versa, based on their human character. Many people suffer from the evil power and
the danger that the government puts on the working people. Evil is a psychological term meaning exercise
of power. This type of power is shown in
many forms, even from genocides. From
many genocides, the Holocaust and the battle in Cambodia will be talking about
what happened during the genocide and explain who would be considered an
everyday hero.
The human character reflects on the amount of behavior
shown in each genocide. “The race toward
death had begun.” quote from Night. From the movie, “The Killing Fields”, Cambodians
were afraid of the war going on, plus the Khmer Rouge group, selecting families,
including kids and torturing them. All families were subjected to interrogation,
torturing, and killing because the Khmer group thought that all parents were
the enemy to them. Even the children,
played this evil game of torture and kill because they were ripped apart from
loving their parents and watched their families work or sent to be killed.
One special person, Pran, lived through the malicious
tactics; even escaped from near death. Pran
was a reporter and helped write about the war, plus taking pictures of the
gruesome killings happening there. During
the time in Cambodia, Americans were trying to bomb the state, but were
somewhat unsuccessful because of the miss-printed coordinates. People were also sent to live on their own
because of a massive evacuation. Pran
was a good example of an everyday hero because he showed loyalty to Schanberg
and for reporting, in general. Pran
always thought on the positive side of the worse situations.
Another genocide that involves the human behavior
would be the Holocaust. This involved
many Hitler army men, taking control of millions of Jewish culture and killing
them with many deathly experiments. I
think that Hitler is, overall, showing that he is humane to these people. The Human Character that these soldiers are
in is the situation or “Bad Barrels” evil because they think that, by caging
and torturing these Jews that come from the cities, they feel dominate over
everyone else. I think that by wearing
the Nazi band, people are disgusted of you; working for the enemy and creating
chaos.
Although one person, Elie Wiesel, lived, worked and
survived through the harsh conditions.
“But we no longer feared death, in any event not this particular death.”
Quote from Night. Some ways that the Jewish people died were
from the crematorium, starvation, mass shootings by SS soldiers, and Zyklon B
gas put into the gas chambers. “In the
air, the smell of burning flesh. It must
have been around midnight.” Quote from
Night. The Zyklon B gas was the worst of
them all because the pellets mixed in with carbon dioxide, from people
breathing, created death through suffocation.
From the days that Elie was in the camp, he describes the first night
that he went through. He thought if
working or starving or sleeping would be the last time until death. “My heart was about to burst. There.
I was face-to-face with the Angel of Death.” Quote from Night. Elie Weisel is
considered an everyday hero because he helped his father more than helping
himself. His father was dying from some
form of diarrhea, so he made sure that they were going to make to the end, no
matter what.
Here are the reasons for each
genocide and who would be considered the everyday hero. To have Elie talk about the concentration
camp and the many killings that happened, when talking to Oprah, shows that he
is still concerned with all of the killings and just understand why. For survivors telling their stories from
living in Cambodia, they are showing that no matter how hard the situation is,
there is still a chance to live. I
believe that good outweighs evil, in any circumstances, because many people in
camps believe in the hope that will come, later in their life.

Genocide paper

Genocide, also known as ethnic cleansing, is still a possibility while living in this imperfect world. Scary for sure, but it only takes one person with the power needed to engage in the act of such violence. We as the young generation have studied the history of genocide. It only takes one person with the hatred of one specific group of individuals and the power to try to exterminate the specific group.
I say this with some suspicion, but who is to say that the SS soldiers that were in charge of the concentration camps weren’t just following orders from Hitler. They could have been everyday people with families and a job; you never know what Hitler offered those people that were in charge of the concentration camps. Once given something that has great meaning to the specific person they might of just thought that the item was of greater value than what they already had. In my opinion Hitler was a very selfish person that needed to be shot in the head. It’s too bad that he killed himself before American soldiers were able to get to him. If they were to reach him before he shot himself I think that he would have been in a world of hurt in many different ways. After reading about what Hitler did I think that good out weighed evil because there was only one person that organized the camps and what happened to them at the camps. I bet that the SS soldiers were offered something in return for following Hitler’s living hell instructions.
The inmates of the concentration camps were just following the commands that they were given in hopes of keeping their own lives. They only acted because of the horrific plans Hitler had for the weak and old. The inmates had no idea what was going on at first, but once they figured it out they were just acting on the commands that were given. In my opinion the inmates had more good than evil because everyone in the camps were doing what was told to them, but the commands were really only given by one person.
I think that there could be a modern day genocide because of the almost daily shootings that take place and all of the kidnappings that happen all over the world. All it will take is for the wrong person to be elected president. With all that has happened in earlier years I can see a person of the higher power taking his/her power to far and trying to annihilate a specific group. I know that there are laws to help prevent such a tragic event from occuring again, but I don’t have a good feeling about what is to come in later years. I think that the people with so called disabilities will be the first group to be targeted because of all the misconceptions about them. It only takes the wrong person to be of the higher power to carry out the tragic act.

Mrs. Kepros
College reading
9/29/13
Over the past month we have been
learning about genocide through movies, books and articles. When I think back on everything we have
learned I think that Evil outweighs good. When we read the book Night I
could not believe all the terrible things that were happening to these innocent
men and women. The book Night is
about Elie Wiesel’s journey through the Holocaust at the Nazi concentration
camps, and the ropes he had to go through and how he actually lived through the
Holocaust. This is a true story.
Within the book Night there
are many examples of evil outweighing good. When they first arrive to Auschwitz
and they split the men and women up, and they send the women and their kids to
the crematory. Actually they were all told they were taking showers and they
had them strip there close off. They were all clueless that they were about to
die. The crematory is a place where they send the innocent people to take
“showers” and after they are all in there they drop this toxic gas (zyklon B)
through these holes and it kills all the people. There is nothing good about
this it is just all evil. And this is one reason I think evil outweighs good.
Another reason I see that evil
outweighs good is when they have everyone gather around and watch them hang
that young kid (Reichsfuhrer Himmler) and his neck was too small for the noose
so they had to watch him die of a slow and painful death and he hung there for
at least a half an hour. The 13 year old boy (Reichsfuhrer Himmler) was hanged
because he stole during the air raid. And even though he did steal stuff this
still isn’t fair and it is evil.
Also I see that evil outweighs good when
they execute millions of innocent people and send them to the crematory. But
then they turn around and have an infirmary! What!? That doesn’t make any sense
at all of all the terrible things they do to people, they hang them and throw them in the crematory but they will
help the people that are sick or have other issues with sore feet and so on. To
me that doesn’t make sense because you think that would just be one more reason
they would kill an innocent human being. Like they’ve done many times before
for absolutely no reason at all.
I think throughout this book there
are many examples as to how evil outweighs good but the last piece I am going
to talk about is evacuation day at Auschwitz, the innocent people had no Idea
where they were headed but they had to run all the way there. Well the SS
officers got to switch in and out with other SS officers when they got tired. They
were evacuating because the Russians were coming. They ran all night and into
the morning and stopped at this abandoned building. I can’t even imagine
running for ten minutes straight let alone all night and into the morning. That
is just evil for sure!
All in all, the four different pieces
I talked about throughout this paper best describes that evil outweighs good!
Everything that went on at Auschwitz was just peer evil, the hangings, the
millions of people that died in the crematory and making them run all night and
into the next day, and this is just a few of the terrible things the SS men did
to these innocent people. There is millions of people dead because of the
Holocaust and there was really no reason for it at all.

Good Outweighing Bad or Vice Versa
When it comes to good and evil, I think good can outweigh evil as much as evil could outweigh the good. In a way they are more balanced, yet not fair to each other. A well-known saying says; “All good things must come to an end”, that’s when evil takes over but eventually will lose its power and good gets to come around once more. The way I see it is as if it’s a pattern without the having the pattern recognized or too repetitive.
Some may believe in Karma and others don’t but whether it’s good, bad, right or wrong, everything has to come to an end at some point only no one could tell; only time will. Good and evil comes in various ways such as shapes, sizes, and with time it has a certain length. It somehow fits and gets into any situation and problems since the world can remember. History is a great way to learn about good and evil because history itself also has a pattern, but from it, we learn from it and make sure it doesn’t repeat itself.
“For in the end, it is all about memory, its sources and its magnitude, and, of course, its consequences.” Said Elie Wiesel; the author of the book Night. Everything has consequences, and from our memory and what’s recognized and remembered from our history we now know what would happen if history gets repeated; so it’s best to not even try. The quote speaks for itself and gets the message through for those who can relate, or simply understand. Elie Wiesel shared what he had lived through so we as the people can prevent it from happening and wants to help those who didn’t make it by sharing their stories, yet he never feel like he had accomplished anything.
In the book Night, it says, “He explained to me with great insistence that every question possessed a power that did not lie in the answer.” When it comes to power, everyone wants a piece of it. For some; depending in their situation, would almost do anything to have control; even if they would have to betray their own. Having power if like being possessed because you don’t think straight through any longer. They tend to turn out to be selfish rather than caring for their loved ones and friends.
Some great examples would be in the film Killing Fields, Khmer Rouge and his group would kill those who would misbehave, slack at work, try to escape or for other smalls reasons they don’t seem to like nor appreciate. With this example, it shows how power can change a person and all they want is to live or any other selfish desire. Another example would be in the book Night, when Elie’s father is getting weaker from overworking, starvation, and not getting enough rest. From all of that, he is slowly dying with those who were already dead. By this example, it strongly shows how the people who have partial power were able to control and decide a person’s death.
To me Elie had seemed as a hero throughout the book but more especially when he took a giant step forward and had done something for others rather than himself. In the book Night as they were going to take Elise fathers body with the rest of the dead ones he had spoken up for his father; since he was too weak and was at the point he wanted to give up his life. And also at the moment when he shared his soup with his father even though he was hungry himself. Elie Wiesel is still a hero today, although he didn’t take a huge role as one but still it is counted for. He had survived through the Holocaust and is doing a favor to those he didn’t make it a joined with him after it was all over.
Some modern day examples of a person becoming a perpetrator is anything relating to killing, involving weapons for no good use, bank robbery, kidnapping, stealing, and causing trouble to others physically, emotionally, and verbally. An everyday hero is someone who is not selfish. Someone who is always willing to do things for others, taking risks over their own life to save and take care of others. A hero needs to be someone who can make us look up to them and naturally gets our attention and the desire to change for the better.

Genocide
Genocide
Genocides have
shown to have both evil out ways good and good out ways evil. Hitler made an
army of his own the SS soldiers and corrupted them to thinking the Jews were
the bad. In the book Night Elie talks about how evil got so strong that kids
would kill their parents for just a piece of bread. On page 101 of Night it
says “ Meir, little Meir! Don’t you recognize me… You’re killing your father …I
have bread…for you too…for you too…”. It shows how one person of evil can make
an effect on so many people. Evil corrupts people so bad that they will kill their
own family for something such as bread. In the interview with Elie and Oprah
they said how big the Auschwitz and it’s amazing and sicking to think about how
Hitler could round up that many Jews and fill up Auschwitz. In the Cambodia genocide
the Khmer Rouge were like Hitler. They thought the rich were out to get the
poor. In the article Worms from our skin there was a part that said “The rich
farmers and the landlords. Their crime was exploiting the peasants. They also
corrupted the peasant to believe that the upper class where better than them.
They also had so much evil that little kids were killing people for no reasons.
One corruption that has happened is the shooting in the elementary where
instant kids died for no reason.
But I also think
good out ways evil. I think it takes awhile for the good to come out but it
does. Good came when the Americans came on April 10 to Buchenwald. On page 115 “At
six o lock that afternoon, the first American tank stood at the gates Buchenwald.
This is the good over waying the evil that Americans are finally taking down
the SS soldiers. Same as Elie getting out of Buchenwald and becoming a big name
in American shows how the bad things he encountered in the camp made him
stronger. The lady who wrote the article Worms from Our skin had a good out
come after being worked almost to death. She was able to move away and come to
America. Sydney Schanberg was able to go to Cambodia and cover what was going
on over there so we could go help them.
Evil and good
out way each other both ways there is no one way. Some of the heroes that I thought
were Sydney and Dith for covering the genocide and risking there life’s so
people could know what was really going on. I thought Elie was a hero sticking
by his father through the time whole time and how he did not let what happen to
him determine the rest of his life; he’s telling his story about what happened.
I think there is no one way I think evil out ways good and good out ways evil.
Good vs. Evil
There’s a thin line between good and evil, Good versus evil has been a classic contrast used for centuries, Its been used in films, books ,and even children novels. What is an act of good or evil? The things that we know, the things that we believe, are not our own ideas or thoughts, that is a known fact. Everything we know and believe was influenced by our upbringings, our family, friends and societies. Good always outweighs evil in the sense that God is good and can overcome any evil set before him.
A perfect example of man committing evil is Adolf Hitler, the man responsible for the Holocaust, the holocaust was the most heinous tragedy of all time. Events of the Holocaust were so extreme and unfathomable that many survivors, who had previously been devoted lovers of God, rejected the idea of an almighty altogether. After all, how could a God stand by and allow such misery to occur? In the book ‘Night” Elie Wiesel is devoted to his religion but as he experience the horror of the camp he begins to question his faith.” I was the accuser, God the accused”. As the book progresses others on the camp also begin to question their faith. They witness horror to the extreme “ For God’s sake, where is God.” Another example of evil trying to prevail is with Elie and his father, Elie and his father had a strong bond all throughout, but as they spend more and more time on the camp Elie starts seeing his dad as a burden, he had thoughts on how he would have more chance of survival if his dad was not with him or if his dad was dead, “Yet at the same time a thought crept into my mind: If only I didn't find him! If only I were relieved of this responsibility, I could use all my strength to fight for my own survival, to take care only of myself”. This is a classic example of evil trying to take over good, and good finding a way to prevail. Elie had these thoughts but he stuck by his father side till his death. We all have bad days where we have negative thoughts, whether its good or bad, but having the will to choose is what makes us human.

Genocide
Why does Genocide happen? There are probably a lot of answers. None that make any sense... But to me i think Genocide happens because of crazy people trying to gain power. Think about it there one man that wants to rule a large area. He could work hard to have every love him and such, or he could kill a bunch of people and have people terrified of him. A lot of leaders would say they would rather have there people be scared of them instead of love them.
Elli and Oprah
Watching the interview a second time i noticed a lot more things that i didn't notice at first. Like how Ellie acts while he is there, you can see it in his expression that he feels terrible while he's there. He was one of the lucky ones to survive that massacre and he knows it. Also i never realized how many people actually died in the Holocaust but just not even that, but the people who died at Auschwitz, it's crazy how many pairs of shoes, suitcases, and even hair that was left behind by the dead is crazy.
genocide
I'm gonna be honest; if you think about committing genocide, you are one crazy mother humper. Also there really isn't much to say about genocide. You really can't say that anything about genocide that isn't bad. this is a really vague topic, maybe if it was the types of genocide then yea. Genocide obviously makes me feel in a bad way cause its killing mass amounts of people. In GTA its different though. Well i'm gonna connect this with a modern day event. You could say that Syria is committing genocide because it is bombing their civilians with chemical weapons.
Oprah and Elie
After watching this interview a second time I finally realize Just how may Jews were killed during the holocaust. If that many shoes were just at Auschwitz, I don't wanna see how may were at all the other ones. probably not as much because Auschwitz was the biggest but still. This genocide is probably the biggest in human history, and the most brutal. The Jews had no idea what was going on, they were taken slowly of all their rights, their homes, their families, then their names.

Oprah and Ellie
If this was me i would be out of here. I would not sit around and wait to die and get hurt more when i have 2 chances to leave when i could. I respect that he is willing to stay and help everyone else and make sure they are safe. I just hope everyone can enjoy the life they have.

The thought of all of the awards and things that Elie Wiesel has accomplished after living such a tough childhood growing up provides me with hope as a young adult. Kind of like that saying " Its not about how you started, its about how you finish". I guess you can say no matter what position your in, you can make a change.
Oprah and Ellie
I have watched this video before but watching it for the second time. I have realized more that had happened back then and how it affected so many Jews. That live back then and how tons of them had been killed for being Jews.I am so happy that they closed down and we caught killing all these Jews that had no reason to die. I am happy our society is the way it is today.
Opray & Elie Interview
What an Horrible and Evil act to try and illiminate a race by the act of hatred. You could visualize and feel the pain through not only the voice of Elie but also through the faces of the men, women and children. It brought tears to my eyes, my heart begin to hurt for those that are gone because of the torture they had to endure. This movie took me back to some of the stories that my great-great grandmother would tell me. Of the beatings, rapes and acts of torture that she and many others went through during slavery. it makes me very greatful for the time in which i live in today.
I would have to say this video really opened my eyes on how bad it really was and how inhumanly they were treated. It was really gross they way they looked in the video. The way the man talked in the video was just amazing. It was like he could hear the people that died there.

Oprah and Elie Interview
After watching the videos of Oprah talking with Elie and sharing his story, its unbelievable what he went through watching the people he loved, die. The amount of people who lived their last moments on Earth before dying.
What I cannot even imagine is that 75% of the people, whether its women, children or elderly people were sent to either the gas chambers or to the crematorium to be incinerated and the 25% of people left were working slaves living a truthful torture. People working and running is just crazy.
Who would even want to work in such a place like that, or even live during that time, working?

Holocaust Review.
Watching parts 1-5 in class and part 6 at my house was hard for me to even think that someone could be so mean, careless, so brutal, wanting to eliminate the entire human race. All Jew's valuables are confiscated and they were forced to wear yellow stars. 11 to 15 million eastern European Jew's were perished. The Holocaust was the largest mass murder in mankind; the factory of death.
Elie Wiesel said "Once a slave, always a slave".
You think you have nothing now... Imagine how everyone around 1944 felt. They will never see the light again!
Genocide
Whenever I hear the word genocide I have to stop and pause for a moment to remember the definition, and then I remember the horrible pictures I have seen on the Internet. I can only imagine what it's like to experience this first hand, the horrible feeling that death can be at any moment and you don't know if your ever going to make it out alive. Just to imagine over 7 million body's piled up is something I will never be able to imagine.

Genocide
Genocide is one of the most evil moral crimes any ruling authority such as a government can commit against its people. A general definition of Genocide is the intention to destroy or murder people because of their race, beliefs, or even political and economic status. There are many examples of genocide in the world, but the most recognizable is that of the Holocaust. Throughout the decades, genocide has taken place in more than one occasion, causing wars, slaughters and mass destruction of cities and towns. I strongly believe genocide is by far the worst crime in humanity. Hatred, superiority and personal memories are all behind genocide.
Auschwitz Review between Oprah and Elie Wiesel
As we watched the interview between Oprah and Elie I just sat there in aw I didn't even know what to think. It was all so crazy to me because I have never seen something so horrific in my life, and for Elie to be able to come back and share his experience to all of us while walking around the same concentration camp where he suffered for so long is amazing to me. Because I know that I would not be able to do that and stay as calm as he was I'm sure it would have made me very sad to have to see it all again after so long. A few of the thing that he said that really stood out to me are,
- That millions of people where killed in the process of the Holocaust
- The main concentration camp was larger than 5000 foot ball fields
- 8000 Jews were sent to Auschwitz a day
- Bodies were burnt by thousands
Auschwitz Death Camp Interview
My thoughts on this interview is that it must have been hard for him to go back there to the death camp where his family was killed. I know I probably wouldn't be able to do that because it would have brought back to many sad and horrible memories for me.

I met a friend in class that told me to read "48 laws of power". This book, I think is a very inportant book. If you want to be/do great things in life, than this is the book to read. I'm still reading this book. Actually I'm watching it on YouTube. If you would like to read this book you can look it up on YouTube, or look for a red book with a blue strip down the middle that saids "power".

I know why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou
I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings By: Maya Angelou is my favorite book that I've read. It's about a too smart for her own good but insecure black girl in the south during the 1930's and in California during the 1940's. Maya's parents had gotten a divorce when she was just 3 years old. Through the years Maya and her older brother Bailey have a hard time dealing with the pain of the rejection of their parents.
I like this book because I kind of reminds me of my childhood. I had a rough childhood too. I just got out of an abusive home, people have threatened to kill and stab me, I've been bullied to much. Sure I'm not black so I don't know what all of it is like but I do know quite a bit. This books will make you think twice about reading again. It sure made me want to read more. Life is hard but it's not hard forever.

First To Die
I don’t read that much for leisure, but once I was introduced to the books by James Patterson I was inspired to read more. I really enjoyed listening to the women’s murder club books by James Patterson. I was able to have some fun reading his books because they were interesting to me and they also kept my interest and attention. In his books the characters became to be interesting by me. The characters are: Lindsay Boxer, a homicide inspector for the Sanfransico police department, Claire Washburn, a medical examiner, Jill Bernhardt, an assistant D.A., and Cindy Thomas, a reporter who just started working the crime desk at the San Francisco Chronicle.
The prolog introduces the main character Lindsay Boxer, who is in a depression and holding a gun to her head as a result of losing a love interest on a case. The book First To Die begins with David and Melany Brant who are freshly married. They are spending the night in a hotel when a man knockes on the door and calls shampain and David opens the door. The man who knocked on the door violently kills the bride and groom and immorally brutalizes the corpse of Meleny. The 3 women are called to investage the crime and soon after they receive a second call that relays that there has been 2 more bodies found. A third pair of bodies has been found in Clevand, Ohio that are suspected to be involved with the same murders that recently happened.
In conclusion I would recommend these books to anyone who has an interest in crime mystery books. I heard the name to this book and I wasn’t sure what to think about it, so I started to read it and I caught myself reading more and more everyday. There were times when I couldn’t stop reading because of the suspense. All I ask is that you give this book a chance because you won’t regret it.

Favorite Book
Okay, so. I'm not the type to pick favorites, but if I absolutely have to... I'd say As Simple As Snow was probably one of the best books I've ever read. Something very awesome about it is that I have met the author (his father taught at my high school)! It was well written and the story line was great!

My favorite Book
My favorite book is a book that I am currently reading. It is called 'The 48 Laws of Power' by Robert Greene. I haven't finished the book yet but it is very interesting and I am really enjoying reading it. Each chapter is a new law that helps you become successful in the business world.

Beastly
“
I look at you and rather look at you than all the portraits in the world” My
favorite movie is "Beastly". The reason I picked that
movie is because it is about a teenage boy who goes to this academy school, and
is voted class president. He thinks that looks are everything when there not.
One of the students in the school is called a "witch" she puts a ugly
spell on him because he kept talking about how she looked and dressed just
because she didn't look like the other kids. But what it means to me is that
everybody may look different on the outside but they are human beings also and
they have feeling to just like us, another thing is that don’t talk about other
people because you may not know what they have been through in life.

Favorite Book
My favorite book to read would be Lord of the Flies. I chose this book because chaos can happen to anyone if there is no rules. This happened to a group of kids, that were from Germany and were stranded on an island. The kids had only one way to get off of the island and that was surviving.

My Favorite Book... more like the tie breakers
Strange angels/The Dark Days novels
I couldn't just pick one book so i picked the two books that tied for my favorite novel ever.
The reason why I chose these two books in general is because they both really appealed to me both in story and the plot. the one to the right is burn the night the sixth out of a six book series which is amazing. this book is about this girl, which, I believe she was 22 or 24 at the time when she was turned in to a vampire, but she was a special case because apparently she carried over a magical ability from her human life to her undead life.
The second novel is about a young female that lost her mother long ago and comes home (after four years) to find that her dad was turned in to a zombie an used to try to kill her. the reason behind this is because she is apparently a dam-fir other wise know as a day-walker a human child with half the blood of vampire and half the blood of human.
Now the reason why i think this is a great book is because its apart of a new generation of authors trying to bring back the true feelings of vampires again an if anyone is a fan of vampires or werewolf's i would recommend these books because theres alot of mystery and adventure with a little bit of blood around every corner.

Last book I read
Last book I read was "A Thousand Splendid Suns" just last year. For someone who doesn't make time for reading, I enjoyed reading this one; although it was kind of confusing but I got caught up and everything made sense. I think others would enjoy reading this book because it has sad moments, romance, mystery, drama, & it has its suspense moments that it just makes you want to continue!
A million little pieces -Raleigh Potter
A Million Little Pieces is the semi true story about James Fry and his struggle with addiction. I read the book my freshman years and with the first page i couldnt put it down. James is the author and its from his point of view as everything is happening hes not affraid to say FUCK and really dosnt give any. he is a alcholic/crackhead with a crazy life.
My Favorite Book
My favorite book is Lock Down by Walter Dean Myers, I like this book because it drew me in from the start and I didn't want to put it down. It's a mystery book and that's my favorite type of book to read. This book is about a juvenile faculty called Progress and talks about how theses boys went through life in progress and how some were able to leave and how some had to stay longer. I would definitely recommend this book to others who like mystery books. It is a very easy read.

My favorite book is..........The Note Book! I am absolutely ob-sessed with this book.
The Note Book is a romantic novel written by Nicholas Sparks in 1996. The Note Book is about a boy and a girl who fall in love cry cry cry the end...I'm joking but The Note Book is actually about the relationship between Alice and Noah. Noah a poor lumber boy and Alice a girl from a rich family that was visiting for the summer. Their relationship was not approved by Alice family because of Noah poor background.Sooooo basically the whole story line is the struggle for them to be together. Talk about a tear fest.

My favorite book that I remember reading in High School is "Child Called It". The challenges as he goes through as a kid no one should go down that road. This is about his mom abusing him in many different way and everyday he has to steal food from his school. When the books ends, he gets to go to foster care and later on he gets a good degree in college.
THE HELP!
The help is a book with a good base and morals. It was based back in the time when race was an issue.
A girl the town and a maid come together and start sharing what it is like to be a maid.
I liked the values of the book and how they set their differences aside and worked together to make a book come together.
I think people should read this book to see what can happen if you put your differences aside.

the last book i read
The last book or books I read would be the ''Sisterhood of the traveling pants'' in like the 7th grade. It is a series of a group of friends that are all different, they go to the store and they see these really cute pair of jeans, they were like magic because they could all fit in them and they were all different sizes. They shared these pair of jeans and wrote all the memories they had on them they shipped them all over the country and even overseas when they went away for the summer. I thought it was pretty cool how they all could fit in the jeans and wrote the memories they had in the jeans.
Raise Your Voice
My favorite movie is Raise Your Voice. You should watch it because it will show a life of a girl that has problems in her family. When she gets a letter from her favorite college and when her father finds out about the letter he flips out on her and grounds her. While she was grounded her brother and her left the house to go to a concert and when they left they get in an accident and her brother dies. The only way she can get to her college is by lying to her father. And then when he finds out he flips out on her again. This movie tells that when you get in trouble their are bad consequences.
I'd have to say my favorite book would have to be Silverwing. This book was about bats and their life style but had a tremendous story line to it. Reading this book never gets old because of the amount of feeling the author Kenneth Oppel put into this book. With the dramatic twist and tragic ending makes this book a 5 stars out of 5 on my chart!
favriote book
My favorite book of all time, or rather a collection of books is the Harry Potter series. The reason I choose harry potter as my favorite book is because I grew up with it through out my child hood. When ever I read the Harry Potter books I imagined seeing what I was reading since the movies were just starting to come out shortly after the books and it was like I was right there next to the characters.
My Favorite Book
Hatchet
My favorite book is Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. Having a young kid get stuck on a island with nothing other then a hatchet is a great plot. Having to survive on skills he learned from his grandfather and trying to find a way to get rescued without being killed by bears was just a thrilling read. The kid learns he took a lot for granted in his life before all he could think about for a couple of chapters was just a burger from a fast food place. I don't think anyone really craves anything like that until it gone with no way to get another one.
-Robert Charles Lehnhardt III
pitch perfect
Hello friends.. EVERYONE should watch this movie pitch perfect! You will NOT fall asleep at all and your eyes will not try to close... This movie is about every type of movie and college students competing against each other. There is a boy team and there is a girl team going up to win the best singing award. I like this movie because its very entertaining and there's NEVER a dull moment. My favorite character is FAT Amy, shes NOT afraid to say anything at all. When someone asks her who she is she says fat Amy. They ask her why she calls herself fat Amy and she reply's cause i am fat and you don't have to talk behind my back and you can say it to my face.
Favorite Book
My favorite magazine is Ebony, I don't have a favorite book. Ebony portrays positive woman that are strong, driven, determined, and who knows that they are not limited by life's circumstances, but instead
pushes through life and reach beyond the sky to become successful women.
pushes through life and reach beyond the sky to become successful women.
My favorite book was Catcher and the Rye, I like the first person narrative style of writing. It really caught me right away and I couldn't stop reading it. I finished it in a couple of days. I liked the fact that he ran away from his school and then went on an adventure in NYC. He got caught up with prostitutes, gambling, getting way too drunk, and a couple bar fights later he found a girlfriend, and he did this all in a week or two. And then he told his father off at the end of his journey. He finally built up the courage to tell him that the he flunked out of the private school he was going to. It's a story of lust, greed, blasphemy, courage, and rage.
My favorite book is Magic Johnson and the reason is because he is one of my favorite basketball players. It tells about his struggles in life and how he gets through them. Other people should read this because of the story because it is very interesting and compelling. It is also about one of the greatest basketball players in NBA history.
