Genocide

Whenever I hear the word genocide I have to stop and pause for a moment to remember the definition, and then I remember the horrible pictures I have seen on the Internet. I can only imagine what it's like to experience this first hand, the horrible feeling that death can be at any moment and you don't know if your ever going to make it out alive. Just to imagine over 7 million body's piled up is something I will never be able to imagine.

  1. I agree with you and Oprah (Elie's interview) - it is unimaginable. Luckily, we have not had to experience such terrible and devastating conditions; therefore, it is difficult for us to even wrap our minds around the terror and horror.

  2. I agree on death can be at any moment and whether you are making it out alive. Its almost like death knocking on your front door. Genocide can almost relate to that.
