First To Die

I don’t read that much for leisure, but once I was introduced to the books by James Patterson I was inspired to read more. I really enjoyed listening to the women’s murder club books by James Patterson. I was able to have some fun reading his books because they were interesting to me and they also kept my interest and attention. In his books the characters became to be interesting by me. The characters are: Lindsay Boxer, a homicide inspector for the Sanfransico police department, Claire Washburn, a medical examiner, Jill Bernhardt, an assistant D.A., and Cindy Thomas, a reporter who just started working the crime desk at the San Francisco Chronicle.

The prolog introduces the main character Lindsay Boxer, who is in a depression and holding a gun to her head as  a result of losing a love interest on a case. The book First To Die begins with David and Melany Brant who  are freshly married. They are spending the night in a hotel when a man knockes on the door and calls shampain and David opens the door. The man who knocked on the door violently kills the bride and groom and immorally brutalizes the corpse of Meleny. The 3 women are called to investage the crime and soon after they receive a second call that relays that there has been 2 more bodies found. A third pair of bodies has been found in Clevand, Ohio that are suspected to be involved with the same murders that recently happened.

In conclusion I would recommend these books to anyone who has an interest in crime mystery books. I heard the name to this book and I wasn’t sure what to think about it, so I started to read it and I caught myself reading more and more everyday. There were times when I couldn’t stop reading because of the suspense. All I ask is that you give this book a chance because you won’t regret it.
