Opray & Elie Interview

What an Horrible and  Evil act to try and illiminate a race by the act of hatred.  You could visualize and feel the pain through not only the voice of Elie but also through the faces of the men, women and children. It brought tears to my eyes, my heart begin to hurt for those that are gone because of the torture they had to endure.  This movie took me back to some of the stories that my great-great grandmother would tell me.  Of the beatings, rapes and acts of torture that she and many others went through during slavery. it makes me very greatful for the time in which i live in today.

  1. It makes me very greatful that society has changed and people tend to think differently these days.

  2. I agree with your visceral reaction to the interview. What a powerful connection to what the slaves endured as well.

  3. I agree... Not only did Hitler hate the Jews but he hated everyone else unless you had blonde hair and blue eyes. He mostly hated Jews because when his mother was sick a Jewish nurse was taking care of her and they said "Oh! well there is no cure for this type of cancer and we can't do anything about so we are just gonna kill her". Ever since then Hitler became a mass murderer.

  4. even still today there are horrible things going on in the world that no one knows about or choose to do nothing about, like the child solders of Africa, even thought it may not affect us it doesn't mean the world is free of evil.
